According to La Voz de Almeria, the top-flight duo are willing to pay an eye-watering £13 million for Almeria striker Darwin Nunez as both Graham Potter and Blades boss Chris Wilder eye reinforcements.

Netting on his international debut for his country last October, the 21-year-old Uruguayan striker has drawn comparisons to national teammate and legend Edinson Cavani.

Nunez helped fire Almeria into promotion contention – with the Segunda play-offs set to be completed this week – netting a respectable 6 second-flight goals in a stellar campaign for the youngster.

La Voz claims that the Blades and the Seagulls have identified Nunez as their top transfer target, with top-flight rivals Southampton also linked to the former Penarol attacker.
