Reports in France suggest that Cluj have received a bid from the Seagulls for the left-footed forward, who can play both on the wings or through the middle as a striker.

The Premier League side have allegedly put forward £2.9m for the 26-year-old, which falls in line with what Celtic reportedly bid in the summer.

Reports at the time stated the Scottish Premiership champions were ‘extremely close’ to tying up a deal. However, the move didn't materialise with Omrani stayed in Romania.

Albion defender Dan Burn has signed a new contract that will keep him with the club until June 2023.

Graham Potter, speaking to the club's website said, “This new contract is a reward for Dan’s consistent and impressive performances so far this season and we’re delighted to be able to keep him here for another three years.

“He became a key part of the team before his injury setback at the start of the year, and we’re looking forward to being able to welcome him back into the squad as soon as possible.”

Also - Albion midfielder Tudor Baluta has joined Dutch Eredivisie side ADO Den Haag on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Albion’s technical director Dan Ashworth said, “Tudor is one of a number of talented young players at the club, and this loan move will be excellent for his development.

“He will have a chance to play regularly at a very high standard in the Dutch Eredivisie, and work under a very experienced coach in Alan Pardew.

“Myself, Graham Potter, David Weir, and his team will continue to monitor his progress, and we wish him all the very best for the rest of the season.”
