Brighton made a significant change after last summer's transfer window as Jason Ayto joined as the new sporting director.
Ayto, previously of Arsenal, replaced David Weir and a major part of his role includes overseeing transfers and contracts for Albion’s key players.
Brighton are known for their shrewd approach to the transfer market but they also have tough decisions to make on current players.
This window is expected to be fairly quiet but the summer could have a major impact on Fabian Hurzeler’s first team as the likes of Bart Verbruggen, Evan Ferguson, Jan Paul van Hecke, Mat O’Riley and Carlos Baleba ponder their futures.
Here's nine key issues Ayto must tackle...

2. Matt O'Riley
The midfielder is on loan at Marseille and has hinted he wants to stay in France. The 25-year-old and Hurzeler never quite seemed the perfect fit and a permanent transfer this summer could be the best outcome. 3. Igor Julio
The centre back continues his struggles while on loan at West Ham. The move has not really worked for him at all and there is believed to be interest from Brazilian club Palmeiras. | Getty Images

4. Carlos Baleba
Will Manchester United return for him this summer? Who knows what will happen at Old Trafford these days but Baleba's situation at Brighton needs to be resolved one way or another.
