It's been a hectic fixture schedule for Brighton but Leandro Trossard says Albion are looking forward to testing themselves against one of the Premier League’s most improved teams tonight.

Amex visitors Aston Villa have been one of the surprise packages this season, taking 35 points from their 21 league games so far.

“They are playing really well this season – they have some high-quality players. It will be a tough game, but it's up to us to have an answer to that quality and play our own game to get a result.”

“It's been a busy period for sure, Burnley were a tough team to breakdown. They're defensively really strong and we had a couple of players who took knocks.

“It was a good point for us after the two games against Tottenham and Liverpool when we played with a real intensity. Everyone was really pleased with the week and of course when you win, everything feels much better.

“We were unlucky to go out the way we did to Leicester on Wednesday in the FA Cup. There were some young guys in there who impressed who haven’t played much or any football recently.

“The whole team is ready for the challenges we're facing, everybody wants to continue the run we have been on.”

Villa have no new fitness concerns following the home win against Arsenal.
