Injuires and adapting to life in the Premier League has proved challenging for some of the additions but the Seagulls are sixth in the table as we pause for the latest international break.

5. Ferdi Kadıoğlu 5-10
The Turkey international full back arrived for around £25m from Fenerbahce on a four-year contract. He's another who arrived with a bit of a knock and has taken a while to get up to speed. He made his debut as a substitute in the 0-0 draw against Ipswich and scored as a late sub against Wolves in the Carabao Cup. Started at Chelsea and then struggled in the first half against Tottenham where he was replaced at halftime. Highly talented but still adapting to the intensity of the Premier League. 6. Yankuba Minteh 7-10
The Seagulls paid around £30m to Newcastle for the Gambian attacker on a five-year deal. It's been a mixed bag so far but his attacking threat is clear to see. His pace and power is a constant problem for defenders and just needs to pick out that final pass and the make the right decision at the right time and he will be the full package. Scored his first goal in the 3-2 win against Tottenham and you get the feeling there's plenty more to come. Photo: Mike Hewitt
7. Brajan Gruda
The Seagulls struck a £25m deal with Mainz to sign the Germany under-21 midfielder on a four-year deal. He arrived with a knock and made his debut as a late substitute in the 3-2 win against Tottenham as he replaced Yankuba Minteh. All the reports are that he looks electric in training and fans will hope to see that potential being fulfilled on the pitch this season. Photo: Mike Hewitt
8. Mats Wieffer 6-10
The Dutch midfielder arrived on a five-year contract from Feyenoord for around £25m despite interest from Atletico Madrid. Had a few wobbly moments on debut at Everton but also showed encouraging signs as well. Picked up an injury and starting to work his way back with substitute appearances against Forest and Spurs and a start at Chelsea. much more to come from Wieffer. Photo: Paul Hazlewood
