Brighton's hopes of avoiding relegation received a major boost last Sunday at Southampton thanks to their 2-1 triumph at St Mary's
Graham Potter's men will be keen to build on that display and pull further away from the drop against their relegation rivals Newcastle.
Albion are 16th in the Premier League standings, three points above 18th placed Fulham and one point above Steve Bruce's struggling Newcastle.
Victory against the Magpies would further ease relegation axiety but they will have to do so without a number of first team regulars.

5. Solly March
Sustained a serious knee injury in the 1-0 win at Liverpool. "My aim is to be back for pre-season at the moment. I hope to be outside before the end of the season. That gives me the summer to get fully fit," said March.

6. Tariq Lamptey
The flying wing back injured his hamstring in the 0-0 draw at Fulham last December. What was originally described as "not too serious" turned into something more sinister and ruled him out for the season. Set to undergo surgery.

7. Davy Propper
Brighton continue to go easy with the Dutch international. He was used as a late substitute against Southampton but nearing full fitness after groin, hamstring and illness issues this season. Has made just two Premier League starts from six appearances and is yet to complete a full 90 minutes

8. Jose Izquierdo
Yet to play this season after more than 18 months out with a serious knee problem but has been included in the matchday squads as an unused substitute. Would be a huge shock to see him start against Newcastle but could be used by Potter as a wildcard from the bench
