Brighton fans will the hope the international break provided a timely breather and recovery period for several Albion stars who were struggling with injury.
Davy Propper, Leandro Trossard, Solly March and Alireza Jahanbakhsh were all hindered by injuries, while young striker Aaron Connolly pulled-up while training with Ireland.
There has also been a reported coronavirus scare for Argentina international Alexis Mac Allister.
It presents a few issues for Graham Potter as they seek their second win of the new Premier League season at a vastly improved Aston Villa.

5. Alexis Mac Allister
Reportedly tested positive for Covid-19, according to sources in Argentina, although this remains unconfirmed by the club. The Albion midfielder was said to have symptoms but is feeling well. He was said to be self isolating and was due for another test this week ahead of Villa. Albion’s club policy is not to comment on specific medical issues.

6. Alireza Jahanbakhsh - hamstring
Pulled up with a hamstring problem against Man United in the Carabao Cup in September and has been out of action since. Hugely frustrating for the Iranian as he'd been pushing hard for a PL starting role. He was making good progress in training ahead of Burnley and hasn't yet been ruled-out for Villa

7. Florin Andone - knee
Still working his way back from a long-term knee injury and is not expected to be fit and available for selection until January 2021 at least. Whether the Romanian striker has a future in the Albion first team remains unclear

8. Jose Izquierdo - knee
Continues to train with the senior squad as he continues his long road to recovery from a serious knee injury. Featured for the Albion under-23s this season but Brighton are sensibly taking an ultra cautious approach with the Colombian. Unlikely to see him in first team action this year
