Ricardo Pereira's late header proved decisive for Brendan Rodgers' men against in-form Championship side Birmingham.

Albion were due to visit Leicester City on Sunday, March 22 but Leicester's quarter-final is now scheduled to take place on the weekend of Saturday, March 21.

Due to the international break, it means Albion now face the prospect of two blank weekends in succession.

A club statement said: "The club will liaise with Leicester and the Premier League in order to reschedule the fixture, with details to be announced in due course."

Brighton's match against Liverpool at the Amex on Monday, April 20 (8pm) has however been confirmed.

The match would have been rescheduled had Liverpool made the semi-final but Jurgen Klopp's men were knocked out by Chelsea on Tuesday night.
