A much-changed side defeated Luton Town 3-0 in the Carabao Cup during the week.

A disastrous outing by Victor Lindelof against Palace will likely see him replaced by Eric Bailly who started against the Championship side.

Solskjaer has few injury concerns with only Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones set to sit out.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is likely to be fielded at right-back in place of Timothy Fosu-Mensah.

There have been question marks over the fitness of Paul Pogba who was replaced after 67 minutes in the Palace defeat.

Donny van de Beek could start in his place, alongside Nemanja Matic and Bruno Fernandes.

There could also be a league start for Mason Greenwood after a goal scoring performance during the week, while he also assisted Marcus Rashford.

Brighton, who have been linked with a former Juventus striker, have been boosted by the return to fitness of Davy Propper. However, Yves Bissouma misses out through suspension.

Following the impressive win at Newcastle United last week, the Seagulls will be looking to record back-to-back Premier Leagues wins fro the first time since November last year.

“We know the challenge, we know that they’re a top team,” Potter said. “But you want to test yourself against the best ones.

“And that’s what it provides us, a great test, a great opportunity to learn more about ourselves and to try to get some positive results.”
