Albion are looking to make it six games unbeaten in the Premier League when they face Aston Villa on Saturday evening, with Graham Potter’s men conceding just one goal in that spell.

A large part of the Seagulls’ newfound defensive solidity has stemmed from the inclusion of 23-year-old goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, who – after spending time out on loan with Rochdale and Forest Green Rovers in recent seasons – has returned to the Amex to great effect.

Speaking on Sky Sports News' Soccer Saturday, Redknapp hailed the Spaniard for his impressive displays of late, but also praised the men in front of him too.

He said: “[He's been] Fantastic.

"I’m a big believer in the loan system full stop. Get these young kids out playing, rather than playing U23s football.

"He’s been excellent.

"I love the two centre-halves there at Brighton too. I think they’ve been outstanding.

“And then the boy [Dan] Burn has come in and played as well. He’s done a great job as well.

"When they play three, he either plays in the three, or sometimes he’s played left wing-back even.

"He’s the tallest left wing-back in history!

"They play some great football, Brighton. I enjoy watching them.

"But the keeper, he has really come in and done excellently.”Brighton will be hoping to replicate the success they enjoyed in their last meeting against Dean Smith’s men this weekend.

Danny Welbeck and Solly March were on the scoresheet as Albion ran out 2-1 winners at Villa Park in November.
