But who shone and who struggled for Graham Potter's men?
21. James McCarthy 5-10
Struggled to get his foot on the ball early o and was guilty at times of getting caught in possession. Substituted at half time | Getty
22. McArthur 5-10
Very quiet first half, making little impact on proceedings. Improved slightly in second half, finding a bit more space in midfield | Getty
23. Ayew 6-10
Quiet first half and could have picked up a yellow after a strong tackle on Montoya early on. Made a great run behind the Albion defence to latch on to Bentekes pass and took the chance well although Ryan made a great effort to save. | Getty
24. Benteke 7-10
Dreadful shinned shot when put through early on. Struggled to get any real chances from the Albion defence. One good knock-down that Kouyate failed to convert. Instrumental in creating the Palace goal as his lovely reverse pass released Ayew | Getty
