But who shone and who struggled for Graham Potter's Albion?
5. Aaron Mooy 8-10
Excellent performance from Mooy. His cross was Maupay's winner was very clever and his play throughout was committed and unselfish
6. Dale Stephens 7-10
Efficient in the middle of the park. Linked defence and attack with usual style and he and Davy Propper dominated the midfield battle
7. Davy Propper 7-10
A classy and hard working performance from the Dutchman. Still gets criticism for lack of goals but few better in the middle of the park. A driving force.
8. Gross 7-10
Selected ahead of Trossard and proved his worth. He was the most advanced of the midfielders and provided a link between midfield and attack.
