Referee announced for Brighton's Premier League match with Newcastle

The Seagulls are in desperate need of points in their battle to stay up. They face a Newcastle side already safe from the drop and who are 14th in the table.

Dean has shown 113 yellow cards and ten reds - including his 100th in the Premier League - in 26 Premier League matches this season.

He has refereed two Brighton league games this season, the 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth and 1-0 victory over Huddersfield.

The assistant referees on Saturday are Ian Hussin and Dan Robathan, with Lee Probert the fourth official.
