Revealed! The intriguing increase in Brighton's squad value since Graham Potter took charge

A recent study has shown which Premier League managers have been the best at increasing the value of their squads since they took charge – so where does Brighton boss Graham Potter rank?

The 45-year-old is into his second season with the Seagulls after being appointed as Chris Hughton’s successor in the summer of 2019.

During that time, Potter has transformed Albion’s style of play, which has taken some getting used to, as suggested by the club’s current position in the Premier League table.

Each manager has been judged on how they’ve helped increase the value of players currently in their squad, so any players who have left the club during a manager's time in charge have not been included in the study by BettingOdds.com.

To determine the effect a manager has had on a player’s worth, the study analysed how much a player’s value has increased or decreased since they’ve been managed by their current boss. All figures in the study are from Transfermarkt.com.
