It's only been 20 days since the January window slammed shut but the club will already be preparing for a hectic summer. In recent seasons Albion would always prepare for two different scenarios – staying in the Premier League or relegation to the Championship. There's no such trouble this time however as Albion – despite dropping points to Crystal Palace and Fulham of late – continue to push for European qualification this campaign.
The main issue for Brighton this summer will be dealing with the likely exits of their midfielders Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo. Replacing their star duo will be no easy task and Albion will also have to negotiate hard to maximise the transfer fee they receive. The club will hope to achieve upward of £120m for the pair, which could go a long way towards rebuilding a new midfield and keeping them financially secure for the forseeable future.
They will also have a number of other clubs eyeing their top talents, plus decisions need to be made on fringe players who are struggling for game time and may perhaps be eyeing a move away to kick-start their careers.
Here are 14 Brighton players who have been linked with moves away or may want regular football elsewhere...

5. Adam Lalllana
Contract expires: June 2023. Robert De Zerbi said after the Fulham loss he wants Adam Lallana to get a new contract and stay beyond this summer. The 34-year-old continues to struggle with injuries but his impact on the young players is highly valued. Likely to sign a new deal and a potential coach of the future Photo: Bryn Lennon

6. Jan Paul van Hecke
Contract expires: June 2023. Another player out of contract this summer and RDZ is keen for the young Netherlands defender to get a new deal. Has had to be patient this season as Veltman, Dunk, Webster and Colwill have all played ahead of him but is a highly talented player and there would be no shortage of takers should he leave this summer. He may wish to get regular football elsewhere but hopefully Brighton can secure a fresh deal Photo: NIGEL RODDIS

7. Tariq Lamptey
Contract expires: June 2025. A few reports surfaced last window of a potential move away - with Wolves and Sporting Lisbon said to be keen on the flying wing back. RDZ has preferred the experience of Veltman or even Gross ahead of Lamptey for much of the season as the former Chelsea man has mainly been used as an impact player from the bench. Remains popular with the Albion fans but he will be frustrated with the lack of gametime. He may seek some assurances this summer. Photo: Steve Bardens

8. Kaoru Mitoma
Contract expires: June 2025. The Japan international has made a real impression in his breakthrough season. Fast, direct, full of skill and most importantly composed in front of goal. A real feather in the cap for Albion's recruitment. A couple of reports suggesting Arsenal were keen last window but nothing concrete. Albion will hope he can fire them to Europe and keep him for another season at least. Photo: Warren Little
