Brighton fans will the hope the international break provided a timely breather and recovery period for several Albion stars who were struggling with injury.

Davy Propper, Leandro Trossard, Solly March and Alireza Jahanbakhsh were all hindered by injuries, while young striker Aaron Connolly pulled-up while training with Ireland.

There has also been a reported coronavirus scare for Argentina international Alexis Mac Allister.

It presents a few issues for Graham Potter as they seek their second win of the new Premier League season at a vastly improved Aston Villa.
