It seems just a brief moment since the summer window closed shut, a window where Brighton made a few shrewd additions to the their squad, including Adam Lallana, Danny Welbeck and Joel Veltman.
However, the January window is just eight Premier League matches away and Brighton will already be busy making preparations to strengthen and also trim their squad.
January could see established or fringe players exit and it could be a chance for some of Albion's talented youngsters to head out on loan and gain vital first team experience elsewere.
Scroll down and click through to see who could be heading for the exit door.

5. Jose Izquierdo
Training with the first team squad as he works his way back from a serious knee injury. Featured for the u23s this season but Brighton are understandably taking a cautious approach with the Colombian's rehabilitation. Expected to be ready in January and interesting to see if they look to loan the winger out in order to build-up match fitness

6. Alireza Jahanbakhsh
So frustrating for the Iranian. Looked to finding his best form in the Carabao matches and was pushing for a PL starting role, until a hamstring injury scuppered his plans. Was 'close' to full fitness ahead of Burnley but he could struggle to break into the starting XI and may seek a loan move to get minutes on the pitch. Likely to be used as an impact sub if he stays.

7. Max Sanders
The midfielder had a successful loan at Wimbledon and really impressed for Albion this season in the Carabao Cup at Preston. The 21-year-old from Horsham is a very talented player and could seek a loan move in January for the next stage of his development

8. Peter Gwargis
The Swedish winger is keen to secure a loan move this January as he looks to progress from u23 football. “The plan wasn’t for me to be in the U23s. I want to go on loan and play first-team football, which the club has also been clear is what they think. I feel the U23 stage is over," said the 20-year-old
