Slaven Bilic will bring his newly promoted team to the Amex ahead of their first match of the season at home to Leicester City on Sunday, September 13, before Albion face Chelsea at the Amex the following night.

Albion played out an encouraging 1-1 pre-season draw with Chelsea last Saturday. New arrivals Ben White, Adam Lallana and Joel Veltman all had a run-out with their new teammates as a late penalty from Pascal Gross cancelled out Timo Werner's early strike for Frank Lampard's men.

Albion head coach Graham Potter said he and his players gained a great deal from the match which was played in front of 2,500 fans.

Against West Brom however Potter will be without six of his first-team squad with Leandro Trossard (Belgium), Joel Veltman (Holland), Aaron Connolly, Shane Duffy, Jayson Molumby (Republic of Ireland) and Viktor Gyokeres (Sweden) all on international duty for this weekend's Nations League fixtures.

Brighton still hope to strengthen their squad before the end of the transfer window. They remain in the race to sign Uruguayan international striker Darwin Nunez from Spanish second tier outfit Almeria.

Bentford left back Rico Henry is another that interests Albion and they are also keen on a loan deal for Liverpool's exciting young striker Rhian Brewster.
