WATCH: Adam Lallana nets a stunner for Brighton at Wolves with classy Leandro Trossard assist

Roberto De Zerbi’s Albion started brightly and almost took the lead when Solly March saw his effort from Adam Lallana’s pass deflected just wide for a corner.

The travelling Albion fans did not have to wait too long for the first goal however as Lallana gave Brighton a 10th-minute lead when he took a fine first touch and expertly curled in Leandro Trossard’s pass. It was a classy flowing move from Brighton and typical of the style of football they are trying to play under De Zerbi.

The lead though was short-lived as the Albion defence switched off for a moment and allowed Goncalo Guedes to level two minutes later from close range.

Brighton were unchanged from their 4-1 win over Chelsea but Danny Welbeck, Levi Colwill and Joel Veltman returned to the bench.

Hwang Hee-Chan replaced the banned Diego Costa for Wolves and Joao Moutinho and Guedes also returned following last week’s 1-1 draw at Brentford.
