West Ham vs Brighton confirmed team news: Two major injury boosts but four out

West HAm vs Brighton in the Premier League from the London Stadium - Tuesday 7.30pm

Brighton will welcome back two attacking talents for their Premier League trip to West Ham.

Albion have struggled in attacking areas this season as the likes of Danny Welbeck (back), Stefanos Tzimas (knee) and Kaoru Mitoma (ankle) have all struggled with injuries.

Yankuba Minteh has also been inconsistent, while Georginio has just one goal to his name this season.

Mitoma's loss has been keenly felt. The Japan international started the first six matches of the season but then picked up an ankle issue in the 3-1 win at Chelsea. He eventually returned as a substitute in the 2-0 loss at Liverpool and was also used from the bench in the 0-0 draw with Sunderland.

An illness ruled him out of the 2-1 defeat at Arsenal last time out but Hurzeler confirmed he will be available to face West Ham tomorrow at the London Stadium.

Welbeck, 35, is also getting back to full fitness after a lower back injury. He was fit enough for the bench against the Gunners and was introduced in the final stages but the Albion boss said his veteran striker is good to go from the start at the struggling Hammers.

Minteh was dropped from the starting XI at Arsenal and will hope to be back in favour on Tuesday. The Gambian almost forced a leveller against Arsenal following his second half introduction but was denied by a remarkable save from David Raya.

Four out for Brighton

Four players remain sidelined for the Seagulls as Stefanos Tzimas (knee), Solly March (knee), Adam Webster (knee) are injured and Carlos Baleba is on AFCON duty.

The Seagulls are winless in their last five and have just two points from a possible 15.

West Ham are third from bottom and have been poor this season. Last time out they suffered a 1-0 loss to Fulham. Prior to that they were beaten by Manchester City and Aston Villa. there last point was against Brighton in a 1-1 draw at the Amex Stadium on December 7.

This one has all the makings of a classic at a London Stadium!

Four missing for West Ham

Hammers boss Nuno Espirito Santo is expected to be without Niclas Fullkrug (thigh) and Lukas Fabianski (back), while Aaron Wan-Bissaka and El Hadji Diouf are at the Africa Cup of Nations.
