Graham Potter's team had 16 shots during a game they largely dominated but failed to find the target against Fulham.

Leandro Trossard and Lewis Dunk both had clear chances in the first half, while Neal Maupay and Solly March were both off target in the second half.

Fulham goalkeeper Alphonse Areola was also in fine form as he produced a number of good saves to ensure Scott Parker's battlers left with a point.

In the end Brighton were grateful to their skipper Lewis Dunk who was forced to clear Ruben Loftus-Cheek's last minute effort from the goalline.

Defeat would have been harsh on Brighton who are 17th in the Premier League table and five points above the drop zone

However, Dublin believes Albion could be in serious relegation trouble this season unless they display more composure in front of goal.

"They play some good stuff," said the former Manchester United striker. "The manager wants them to play the right way.

"They pass, they pass, they pass, they get into good areas, but they just cannot score.

"They have not got that calmness in front of goal.

"They get themselves into good positions but where is that out and out forward, where is that one who is going to get 15-20 for them."

Brighton are next in action this Sunday against Jose Mourinho's Tottenham. Potter will hope to have strikers Aaron Connolly and Danny Welbeck available for selection.

Connolly, who turned 21 today, has been out with a hamstring problem, while Welbeck continues his recovery from a knee injury.
