The Israeli has featured prominently for Albion in recent weeks and needed to be on top form to keep out Wolves who provided a strong attacking threat on Saturday afternoon.

Glenn Murray's 100th goal for the club secured the win but a few late saves from Mathew Ryan and several defensive blocks from Lewis Dunk and Shane Duffy made sure the ball stayed out of the Albion net.

Brighton have now gone four hours and 55 minutes without conceding a Premier League goal and Kayal hailed the 'massive' defensive display from his team mates.

He said: "Every clean sheet is massive, every clean sheet means you did the job perfectly.

"We had a few counter attacks and if we had scored the second it would have made the job easier for us.

"Everyone put themselves on the line, Maty made massive saves, Dunky a few headers, me down the middle, it was massive.

"It's always nice to progress after a good result, we had the lead and we could have had the second one with the counter attack but we didn't so the other side of that we need to keep the clean sheet and we did it perfectly.

"We keep pushing, three wins in a row for a club like us is massive, three clean sheets is an amazing feeling."

Albion travel to Everton on Saturday when they will look to extend their winning run to four matches.
