The Seagulls are winless in five league games but did progress into the last 16 of the FA Cup on Wednesday with a 3-1 extra-time win at West Brom.

The Clarets are unbeaten in six league games, with three wins and three draws, but remain just outside the relegation zone. They have 24 points from their 25 league games and are three points behind 13th-placed Albion.

Albion won at West Brom in the FA Cup on Wednesday but Chris Hughton will make numerous changes from the team which started at the Hawthorns.

There were ten changes from the previous Premier League game for that match, with only Yves Bissouma keeping his place in the starting line-up from the 0-0 draw with Watford last weekend.

Mathew Ryan will return in goal, while Martin Montoya, Shane Duffy and Lewis will all return in defence. Hughton has a decision at left-back after Bernardo returned from injury at the Hawthorns and played all 120 minutes, although Gaetan Bong could keep his place in the starting line-up.

Davy Propper, Solly March, Jurgen Locadia, Pascal Gross and Glenn Murray are all likely to return to the starting 11. If Dale Stephens is fit to return from a hip injury, he will probably start although Yves Bissouma will be on standby to make a third successive start.

Alireza Jahanbakhsh featured for Albion for the first time since November after a hamstring injury and international duty with Iran on Wednesday but he will likely be on the bench again tomorrow.

Winger Jose Izquierdo is set to return to training at the end of this week but won't be involved against the Clarets.

Likely line-up: Ryan; Montoya, Duffy, Dunk, Bong; Bissouma, Propper, Gross; March, Murray, Locadia. Subs (from): Button, Bruno, Balogun, Burn, Bernardo, Knockaert, Stephens, Kayal, Jahanbakhsh, Gyokeres, Andone.

BURNLEY

The Clarets are unbeaten in six Premier League games after Ashley Barnes' late penalty rescued a point at home to Southampton last week.

Burnley boss Sean Dyche says Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Robbie Brady are ready to start after returning to the matchday squad last weekend.

Defender Matt Lowton is back in training following a toe injury but Steven Defour is likely to miss out with a calf injury.

Former Brighton duo Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood are both likely to feature against the Seagulls.

Likely line-up: Heaton; Bardsley, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor; Gudmundsson, Westwood, Cork, McNeil; Barnes, Wood. Subs (from): Hart, Gibson, Ward, Long, Lowton, Hendrick, Brady, Crouch, Vydra.
