Brighton progressed into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup with a 2-1 win against Derby this afternoon. Here's how we rated the players of both teams.
Goals from Anthony Knockaert and Jurgen Locadia put Brighton 2-0 ahead, before Ashley Coles made it 2-1 late on.
Waghorn sent a shot straight at the keeper late in the first half. Pushed over Keogh header at 2-1 late on.
Lovely flick early on. Got forward down the right to support Albion attacks and solid defensively.
Dominant in the air as usual. Comfortable first half at the back for the Irishman. Bravely headed clear powerful Wilson strike early in the second half.
Third appearance for Brighton and strong showing again. Crucial interception to cut out Wilson pass intended for Nugent early on. Solid in the tackle and in the air but his clearance was headed home by Cole to make it 2-1.
Solid at the back and rarely troubled.Close-range volley superbly saved by Roos at 2-0.
Tidied things up in front of the back four. Composed in possession.
Strong showing in the middle of the park. Led quick break, which finished with Bissouma firing high and wide.
Outstanding in the middle of the park and influential throughout. Set up Knockaert for Albion's opener and was then unlucky to see his shot come back off a post before Locadia tapped home the rebound. Booked.
Excellent and a constant threat. Twice denied by Derby keeper Roos, before he swept Albion into the lead with a lovely finish on 33 minutes. Had a shot pushed away by Roos after the break.
Led the line up front. Made it 2-0 when he was quickest to react to tap the ball home after Bissouma's shot hit a post. Set up Knockaert for opportunity in the second half. Limped off late on.
Excellent reverse pass sent Bruno away on the half-hour. Lively going forward and involved in the first goal.
Replaced Locadia ten minutes from time. Shot from a tight angle kept out by Roos.
