Hughton made eight changes when Brighton won at Bournemouth and West Brom boss Darren Moore made nine changes himself for their third round tie.

Brighton are likely to field a similar side to which appeared in the previous round, although Hughton will also have one eye on Tuesday's Premier League game at Fulham.

Brighton sit 13th in the Premier League, while West Brom are looking to bounce straight back into the top flight after relegation last year. They are third in the Championship, four points behind leaders Leeds.

BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION

Jason Steele is likely to be in goal, after playing in the third round win at Bournemouth.

Club captain Bruno will come in at right-back, while Leon Balogun will start in central defence, possibly alongside Dan Burn.

Burn joined Brighton from Wigan in the summer but spent the first half of the season back on the loan at the Latics. He was an unused substitute at Bournemouth and is still waiting to make his Seagulls debut.

Anthony Knockaert has impressed off the bench in the last two games, after scoring at Bournemouth, and will come back into the starting line-up.

Beram Kayal is also set to start and Yves Bissouma will also feature if he is fit to return from a hip injury. One of Dale Stephens, Davy Propper or Pascal Gross will likely occupy the other midfield position, unless Hughton decides to give Horsham-based youngster Max Sanders his debut.

Jurgen Locadia has started Brighton's last seven games and could again continue on the left-hand side of the front three, although Swedish youngster Viktor Gyokeres has been in the matchday squad a couple of times in recent weeks.
