Brighton striker Murray believes Crystal Palace are in a false position
The 35-year-old scored 47 times for the Eagles in between two spells for the Seagulls, where he has netted 106 goals.
Murray feels Palace could be higher than their 13th place position in the Premier League but Brighton will go level on points with the Eagles if they complete the league double, after a 3-1 win in December.

"I personally think they're probably in a false position because they've got a very talented squad.
"They maybe took a little bit of time to get going but they're in their stride more now."
Murray felt Brighton went back to basics in their 1-0 victory against Huddersfield last Saturday as they ended a seven-game winless run.

"Things were maybe going against us slightly and it was just about keeping our cool and doing what we do.
"We tried to go back to basics a little bit today and stop conceding goals and we did that."
