Westfield Football Club will now be playing at home this afternoon (Saturday) after the venue was switched.

The Westies were due to be away to Ifield Galaxy in Macron Store Southern Combination Football League Division Two, but the match has been switched to The Parish Field following the rain of yesterday afternoon and evening. Kick-off will be 3pm.

Although we’re now in mid-April, Westfield and Ifield are yet to meet this season. The return match in a fortnight’s time will now be played at Ifield instead of Westfield.

Westfield will be targeting back-to-back wins for only the third time this season following last weekend’s excellent 2-1 win at Bosham - a result manager Jack Stapley described as their best of the campaign.

Third-bottom Ifield have lost their last nine league matches and have conceded six goals in both of their last two.
