The Hillians drew 0-0 with Tonbridge Angels and that was not enough as Needham Market won and jumped above The Hillians.

But Farnborough’s current situation means Burgess Hill could be saved from ther drop.

Chapman told Hillians TV after the game: “About a few months back now we were told Farnborough were down because of something or other so for the last few months we had to get above Brentwood.

“Hopefully we will still be in this league and apparently that’s what is going to happen.

“The other side of it is we are all really disappointed because we’ve ended up in a relegation position but what it has done is made it really paramount to me is that we have got to make changes.”
