Chichester City issue warning to fans ahead of Worthing and Bognor clashes


City have high-profile friendlies against Worthing on Tuesday (Sept 1) and Bognor on Friday (Sept 4) and will be allowed crowds of 200 and 400 respectively following new FA and government guidelines.
They could reach the limit for both games and were quick to make them all-ticket.

Hide AdWith tickets being snapped up, anyone who’d like to attend either game is urged to book either through chichestercityfc.co.uk or by calling 07856 158360.
City chairman Andy Bell said it would be wonderful to welcome fans back to the ground.
“It’s great that fans can come back in, and it’s vital for us as a club too,” he said.
“We’ve had no income since March and although we had a grant through the council it’s not the same as having regular matchdays.”

Hide AdRules allow clubs at City’s level – step four of non-league –400 fans from next Monday, but their first game has to be with the earlier limit of 200.
Chi continued their build-up towards the new Isthmian League season with a 5-0 win over Selsey at Pagham to finish third in the Dave Kew Memorial Cup.
They visited Baffins in Portsmouth last night and go to Alfold on Saturday. Their ‘season proper’ begins with an FA Cup tie on September 12.
