Chichester ladies win at Enfield to go second

Chichester City Ladies are second after winning 2-0 at Enfield and leapfrogging them in the table.

The Lilywhites started slowly with Enfield dominating the early possession and the home side’s strikers exploiting the vast space left between the Chichester midfield and defence.

Chichester dug in and soon sprang the Enfield offside trap. With the keeper rooted to the line Abbey Shrubb didn’t need to be asked twice and smashed the ball home - against the run of play.
