“Although there’s nothing to play for in terms of league positions, we want to put on a good performance for the supporters that come and watch us week in, week out.”
A win would ensure Common finish at least eighth and possibly seventh - if Lingfield drop points away to Mile Oak.

“It’s a good opportunity for us,” added Eldridge, who will be without the unavailable Steve Mote. “It’s a good game to have last game of the season.”
Of last weekend’s 2-0 win at Seaford Town, Eldridge said: “It was a good result. It was a little bit laboured in the first half. Although I didn’t think we were ever struggling as such, we were a little bit sloppy and the chances they had were from our mistakes.

“The first goal was the key thing; that deflated them a bit, we raised our game and thereafter we were in control. Maybe we didn’t have the quality we could’ve done at times, but we did enough to see the game out and secure the victory, which was the most important thing.”
