Michael Turner bagged a brace while Daniel Dunford also struck as two-leagues below Mid Sussex League Championship outfit Nutley took the lead three times on the way to a 3-2 second-round victory.

Clymping boss Lawrence felt his side were complacent on the day and said: “We underestimated them and paid the price. For some reason we seem to turn up 30 minutes into matches.

“No matter what opposition you face, you must make sure you are in the right mindset and we weren’t.

“It’s a tough defeat to take because we were looking at going as far as possible in this competition.”

Dunford fired Nutley ahead on 20 minutes but Clymping were level 20 minutes after the break thanks to Tom Foxon’s strike.

Nutley went ahead for a second time when Turner got his first of the afternoon five minutes later.
