James Balagizi scored the Reds’ first two league goals of the season as Crawley looked to have earned a well-deserved point before Keiron Bowie’s injury-time winner broke their hearts.
Here are Lloyd Dean’s player ratings from the game.
You can see a recap of the action here.

9. Ashley Nadesan 7
Nadesan grew into the game after a quiet first half despite assisting Balagizi's first. He then Assisted Balagizi’s second goal after a run and turn past the Northampton defence. Not as strong on the ball as he and Crawley would have perhaps liked or needed but overall a decent performance from Crawley’s number 10. Photo: Cory Pickford

10. Tom Nichols 7
A very quiet performance from Crawley’s captain and couldn’t really get into the game. That being said Nichols did create some openings with some creative movement and passes and was heavily involved in Crawley’s opening goal. Photo: Cory Pickford

11. Mazeed Ogungbo 7
Ogungbo made some sloppy misplaced passes and often took too long on the ball which in-turn put his team mates under pressure. Photo: CTFC

12. Teddy Jenks 6
Introduced into the game on the 60th minute Teddy Jenks made some good passes outwide and intercepted the ball well which broke down some Northampton attacks. Photo: CTFC
