But how did Jack Butler rate the Reds' players' performances? Here are his ratings. Do you agree?
9. Ashley Nadesan - 8.5
Constantly won the foot race against the Exeter back four, and was a really handful throughout. Deserved his goal, after he timed his run and slotted into the net from 2 yards. Clinical.
10. Tom Nichols - 8.5
Given a free role hanging off the front two in the first half and he was pushed forward in the second. Lovely turn that assisted the second after he converted from 12 yards, after missing his previous two. Got to respect that.
11. Davide Rodari - 6.5
On his first start, the 21-year-old was unable to convert after he found space in box. 10 yards out, just the keeper to beat, it was tame at best. The striker, who signed from Hastings United in January, was subbed at half-time.
12. Archie Davies - 7
Subbed 70th minute and joined a back-three that had little to do. Not the hardest half an hour hell have in defence, but did what he to well.
