Once again, it wasn’t the best afternoon out for Yems’ side...here are Jack Butler's player ratings.
.
Mark Wright made his first start as a professional footballer against Harrogate Town
. Glenn Morris 6
Few quality saves throughout. Conceded three, but was let down by his defence in the first half. Watched the game after Harrogate went down to ten.
. George Francomb 5
Exposed for McPake’s run that led to the penalty. Wasn’t the worst of a suspect back four, who were frequently caught out in the first 45. Importantly, the skipper kept his side going in the second half, and improved like the rest of the team.
. Tony Craig 5
Battled against Harrogate target-man Aaron Martin. Less to do in the second , but had a poor first half.
. Joe McNerney 6
Struggled in the first half against Harrogate’s physicality. Less involved in the second as Harrogate sat back. Cut apart far too often in the first 45.
. Mark Wright 5
Positioning all over the place, caught far too high up the pitch. Failed to track back March, who found space in behind, before Martin grabbed the opener. Decent delivery in final third but off at half time. Difficult afternoon.
