Crawley Town pair up for monthly Sky Bet League Two awards

Crawley Town boss John Yems and striker Max Watters have been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two Manager and Player of the Month awards respectively.

Yems Has quietly built a resilience in his side which saw them remain unbeaten in seven December games to collect 13 points. They were behind or pegged back in every game, but rallied each time in scoring a division-leading 14 goals.

He is up against Derek Adams (Morecambe), Chris Beech (Carlisle United) and Mark Molesley (Southend United).

All winners will be announced at 8am on Friday, January 8.

The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel comprises former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
