Crawley Town were robbed off a deserved point after an improved second half showing when James Tilley’s last-minute strike was incredibly adjudged to not be over the line by the linesman.
The Reds had gone behind early in the first half after Archibald lobbed Morris. The second came at the death as the hosts searched for an equaliser.

Incredibly busy first-half. Kept out Drinan’s penalty with his legs before holding the rebound, later turned away Brown’s difficult strike. Was lobbed for the opening goal after being stranded in no man’s land. Shaky on occasions with the ball at his feet and sweeping, lucky not to give away a goal. Couldn’t do anything to stop the second. Photo: Cory Pickford

Should’ve had an assist to his name after rolling through Nichols. Hooked tackle denied Smyth a sight of goal. Lackadaisical on the ball, often losing possession cheaply but was by no means alone at that. Photo: Cory Pickford
. James Tilley 9
Somehow his brilliant strike that clearly went in off the under side of the bar was seen by everyone but the linesman. Involved in the second half more after change of shape and become sides’ most prominent player. Robbed off a brilliant equaliser. Booked. Photo: Cory Pickford
5. Ludwig Francillette 7
Bravely blocked Smyth’s effort from close range. Leapt well at the back post but was unable to keep header down from a free-kick with five minutes to play. Uncompromising with strong challenges an aerial battles, has really grown in recent weeks, another solid performance. Photo: Cory Pickford
6. Ashley Nadesan 6
Completely fruitless in the first-half bar a last-minute half-chance he flicked wide of the far post with a header. Played out on the right in the second half and got up against his man well, delivering a couple good crosses that should’ve led to more. Booked. Photo: Cory Pickford
7. Will Ferry 8
Miraculous goal-line clearance kept the Reds in the game with 20 minutes to play. Very quiet and frustrating opening 45 with no memorable involvement but was more involved in the second half linking up with Hutchinson. Photo: Cory Pickford

Was unfairly penalised for a tackle on Khan for the penalty which Morris saved. Couple of important clearances with Crawley under pressure in the opening stages and intercepted a goal-bound effort on its way into an empty net. Was beaten easily on occasions and not commanding enough. Took a heavy blow on the knee which he was unable to play through. Subbed and booked. Photo: Cory Pickford
