Richie Barker admitted Tranmere’s 95th minute equaliser was “tough to take” but preferred to focus on what he called a fantastic performance from his Crawley side.
Reds were all set for their second win from two League One games before 34-year-old goal poacher Ryan Lowe prodded home a corner with almost the last kick of the game to snatch a 3-3 draw.
But Barker was more interested in what was an encouraging performance away from home which saw Joe Walsh score a brace to make it three for the season and Billy Clarke also get on the scoresheet.
