Eastbourne Borough overcame Dulwich Hamlet to reach the first round of the FA Cup.

They're the only non-league club in Sussex to reach the 'proper' stage of the famous old competition this season and will be joined in the hat by Crawley Town and all other League One and League Two clubs.

James Ferry got the only goal as Borough turned in a solid display to beat their National South rivals at an empty Priory Lane.

Borough will hope to land a plum - and maybe televised - tie against a side like Portsmouth, Ipswich or Charlton in the first round, which takes place on the weekend of November 7/8. Am all-Sussex clash with Crawley would also be a mouthwatering prospect.

The draw will take place around 7:10pm on Monday ahead of Bishop's Stortford’s clash with St Albans City. Both the draw and the match are live on BT Sport.

Borough have earned £9,375 for their fourth qualifying round win - the prize jumps to £22k for teams who win in the first round, incentive enough for Danny Bloor's team to carry on their run just a little further.

Watch out on this website through the week for 'FA Cupdates' from Borough
