Eastbourne Rangers announce new management team

Hopkins is no stranger to the club after starting the 2019/20 season with us before other coaching commitments ensured a shorter than expected previous stay. But with circumstances having now changed, he is back.

He said: "I’m delighted to be working with Robbo who has a proven winning track record and shares my passion for local youth player development.

“We are focused on success and winning through the development of young, local talented players that want to play first team football week in, week out. These younger players will complement the experienced players we already have at the club.”

He said: "I am delighted to be back after mainly filling in wherever I could over the past 18 months. After learning Hoppo was available a couple of weeks ago, it was a no brainer to get him involved, as he shares the same enthusiasm and principles of the game that I have".

"We will be delivering a clear message to the players during training and games, as well as off the pitch this season, whenever it may start, and we hope that this message will be at the forefront of any success we may have."

As with all clubs during this uncertain time, Rangers have not yet been able identity a start date for preseason training and will follow government guidance to the letter before setting a date.
