The game had began well for the home side as Max Agnoly gave EP a first half lead, but goals from Sam Willet and Dave Pugh ensured the Division 2 side reached the quarter-finals.

EP boss Sammy Donnelly was disappointed with the loss and said: “It was a very disappointing defeat for us against lower league opposition.

“We went a goal ahead and should have had two or three more but didn’t convert our chances and, once again, like Saturday, we end up losing the game.

Westfield came here with nothing to lose and gave it a real good go and left with a win.

“It’s just something we are going to have to accept until I can get a squad of settled players in.”

EP took the lead on 27 minutes when Agnoly netted.

Willet levelled for the visitors with 22 minutes left and Pugh got the winner on 81 minutes.
