FA Cup 2nd qualifying round draw: Seven Sussex clubs find out opponents
A mixed bag, but it could have been tougher. The seven Sussex clubs still involved in this season's Adobe FA Cup have today learned their opponents in the Second Qualifying Round.
After Saturday's results, four of those clubs face midweek replays - and Lewes will be eager to overcome Cray Wanderers at the second attempt, with a home tie against National South Maidstone United awaiting the winners. The two clubs drew 2-2 on Saturday, and the Rooks would relish a visit from well-supported Maidstone at the Dripping Pan.

Another eye-catching tie lines up Horsham for a visit to crisis club Walton and Hersham. The freshly promoted Surrey club lie bottom of National South without a single point, and are grappling with major off-field issues. Dom di Paola's Hornets have built a terrific FA Cup pedigree in recent seasons and will certainly look to progress.
Steve King - another manager with a strong FA Cup CV - saw his Eastbourne Borough side just edge a thriller on Saturday with a 4-2 victory at Whitehawk, and they will welcome a home tie against Isthmian South Central outfit Windsor and Eton.
Chichester City have an intriguing afternoon in prospect on Saturday 19th September: they will welcome SE Dons, a Step Five club whose FA Cup journey began on August 8th - with a 6-0 victory at Lancing! The North Kent Dons have forged something of a break-the-mould reputation, and in the words of their chairman, they "don't do goalless draws"!
If Burgess Hill can defeat Jersey Bulls on Tuesday night - following Saturday's 2-2 draw - they must travel to Hanwell Town in West London. Hanwell play at Step Three, like the Hillians, but they are currently struggling near the foot of the Southern League Premier Central.
And last but certainly not least, Crowborough Athletic will travel as underdogs to National South club Hampton and Richmond Borough. But don't underdogs often win cup ties?
All ties to be played on Saturday 19th September, with prize money of £3,750 to the winners, and £1,250 to losing clubs.
