FA Cup: Crawley’s trip to Wimborne selected for TV coverage

Crawley Town’s FA Cup first round proper trip to non-league outfit Wimborne Town has been selected for TV coverage.

The match will be shown live on TNT Sports 1 and HBO Max, with coverage starting from 2.30pm.

The fixture will now take place on Sunday, November 8, with a 3pm kick off.

With Crawley languishing at the bottom of League Two, culminating in the dismissal of head coach Colin Kazim-Richards, Wimborne will relish welcoming the Red Devils to Dorset.

Wimborne have beaten Portishead, Weston-super-Mare, Crowborough Athletic and – in the last round – Chelmsford City to reach the first round.

Fourth qualifying round defeats for Worthing and Eastbourne Borough mean Crawley are Sussex’s sole representative in the first round proper.
