THESE two teams brushed off the cobwebs to produce a classic.

Bosham had a bright start but Pagham took the lead after 28 minutes capitalising on a mistake in the midfield. In the second half, both teams created chances but Pagham took advantage of poor defending and scored two goals in quick succession to put them in a strong position.

Bosham’s persistence was rewarded with Tim Callen pulling a goal back and within two minutes Liam Lancaster made it 3-2 with a fine low shot.

With Bosham’s tails up they nearly carved out an equaliser but Callen shot wide.

Pagham broke and a speculative shot from a forward saw his effort sail over keeper Troy Field into the top corner.

With ten minutes to go Bosham played the ball into the area and Liam Lancaster found the net with a tap-in following a scramble.

Seconds remained when Charlie Hawes struck a cracking shot from 20 yards to equalise for Bosham.

Bosham showed great resilience to come back and claim a well-deserved point. Man of the match was Charlie Cooper.

Chichester started brightly but failure to convert a large number of chances early on combined with some superb saves from the Ferring keeper meant a strike from Ferring five minutes before half-time saw Chichester go in at the interval a goal down.

A re-invigorated Chichester came out after the break and pressed. Finally a loose ball following a corner was struck into the top corner by Jonathan Tallent (pictured above) to make it 1-1.

Chichester had their tails up and took the lead after the ball was spilled in the Ferring box and Tallent was again in the right place to put the ball in the net.

Hard work from Harry Perry and Adam Richards on the flanks and solid defending by the Chichester
back four saw Chichester through to the final whistle to earn another league victory.

Chi lost centre-back Corey Heath in the warm-up but they went ahead with a planned formation change which worked well. Perry was full of running and was seeing plenty of ball out wide. He was brought down early on just inside the box and awarded a penalty, which he dispatched.

Continual pressing from Chichester saw Joe Gromett get a second.

In the second half, neat passing and individual skills saw Perry get his second.

Clymping worked hard closing down Chichester but great movement and passing saw Perry go through again on goal to seal his hat-trick.
