'From the off' - Scott Lindsey makes request to Crawley Town fans ahead of Bromley visit

Scott Lindsey loved the noise from the fans when his Crawley Town side scored against Colchester United on Boxing Day – but he wants more.

Nearly 4,000 people attended the 1-1 draw with Colchester United and when Reds took the lead through Reece Brown’s goal, the home supporters erupted accordingly.

But at times, especially after Kyreece Lisbie equalised, it went a little quiet at the Broadfield Stadium.

And Lindsey now wants more when they face Bromley at the Broadfield Stadium on Tuesday night – especially from the kick off.

"I loved the noise that we made when we scored,” he said. “But can we have that from the off? Get us going from the off and be really boisterous. Don't wait for a goal.

“Goals obviously change games and it changes attitudes in the stadium. I get that. Let's go for it against Bromley.

“Bromley are flying at the moment. They can't seem to lose a game, let alone anything else, can they? Hopefully, if we get everybody behind the lads, we can change that and get a good result.”

And Lindsey added: “Listen, this is a hard place to come. I don't care how well Bromley are doing.

“Great. Good for them. But this is a tough place to come, as Danny Cowley will probably tell you.”
