Crawley Town battled hard against Bournemouth but it wasn't enough as the Championship side progressed to the fifth round of the FA Cup, winning 2-1

And Reds fans - including the BBC's Dan Walker - were full of praise for their side's efforts after a week and half off after a Covid outbreak and for the cup run as a whole.

Walker said: "I was dreaming of going all the way but well played @Crawley_Town for making the 4th round. We’ll always have that win in Round 3 #facup."

Malc Lochead tweeted: "Put a real shift in tonight."

Stephen Dimmock said: "Well played, especially after the scare last week. The Torquay and Leeds matches alone were enough to make this run so memorable, no matter what the result was tonight. Now we can focus on getting playoffs (or even automatics )"
