Golds stay in hunt for a top-two finish

LITTLEHAMPTON Football Club remain in the hunt to finish second in County League Division 1 after a 2-0 victory at Shoreham on Tuesday evening.

Golds, who are third, host second-placed East Grinstead on Saturday and victories in their final three games will see Littlehampton finish second. Golds’ other games are at East Preston on Monday (11am) and at Newhaven on May 3.

Littlehampton won at Shoreham with goals from Jason Jarvis and Mitchell Hand, from the penalty spot.

On Saturday, Golds had won 4-0 away to local rivals Arundel when Dan Simmonds scored all four goals.
