All of the area's three senior football clubs will be in action tonight (Tuesday).

Hastings United will travel to Greenwich Borough in Ryman League Division One South, while in Macron Store Southern Combination League Division One, Bexhill United will host Seaford Town and Little Common will entertain Southwick.

Hastings will be keen to hit straight back after suffering their first defeat of the season on Saturday - a 2-1 loss away to second-placed Dorking Wanderers.

But another tough test lies in store because fifth-placed Greenwich have won their last six matches in all competitions, scoring 17 goals in the process.

United are currently in 10th place with 12 points from seven matches, and they trail Greenwich by seven points having played two fewer games.

Greenwich, incidentally, play at the same ground as Cray Valley (PM), who United beat 2-0 in an FA Cup preliminary round tie last month. Kick-off tonight is 7.45pm.

Elsewhere, Bexhill and Common will also be eager to rediscover the winning formula after they too lost at the weekend.

Still smarting from a 6-1 drubbing at home to Steyning Town, seventh-placed Bexhill will seek to add to their tally of 13 points from eight games against a Seaford side which lies five places and six points below them. Kick-off at The Polegrove is 7.45pm.

Although beaten in the FA Vase on Saturday, fourth-placed Common have won three and lost two of their last five league outings. They will be keen to continue that unbeaten sequence against a Southwick team which trails Seaford on goal difference. Kick-off at the Recreation Ground is 7.30pm.
