The U’s are currently third in Ryman Football League Division One South and even a draw tonight will be enough to move them above second-placed Crawley Down Gatwick.

The visitors lie three places off the foot of the table, albeit having played less games than anyone else in the league. Invicta’s last league match was a 1-1 draw at home to Eastbourne Town on September 24, but they trounced Waltham Forest 6-0 on Saturday in the FA Trophy.

United were also victorious in the FA Trophy at the weekend, defeating Brentwood Town 3-2 at The Pilot Field thanks to goals from Bailo Camara, Kenny Pogue and Brazilian debutant Rodrigo Branco.

Branco, a recent acquisition from Conference National side Woking, scored his first goal for the club during a lively substitute appearance and could well be pushing for a start tonight.

United hold the division’s last remaining unbeaten home record having won three and drawn one of their four league games so far at The Pilot Field. Kick-off is 7.45pm and if you can’t make it to the game, follow @SimonNewstead on Twitter for updates.
