United travel to Ryman Football League Division One South leaders Walton Casuals today (Saturday) before hosting second-placed Leatherhead on Monday night.

Fifth-placed United trail Leatherhead on goal difference with a game in hand and are eight points behind Walton having played two fewer matches. The U’s did win 1-0 at home to Walton on the first Monday of the season.

“Walton Casuals are on a really good run of form and then we’ve got what is probably the strongest side in the league,” said manager John Maggs. “I think Leatherhead are the team to beat. It’s two good games. Obviously we’re capable - I know that - and I’m looking forward to them.”

Andy Henson is expected to be out for a minimum of two weeks after damaging ankle ligaments at Merstham last weekend, but Sean Kelly hopes to recover from the calf problem which forced him off against Herne Bay on Tuesday night.

Elsewhere today, new signing Ryan Cooper could well make his debut as Rye United host Chichester City in Sussex County Football League Division One but the Quarterboys will be without Tom Hughes.

It’s second against third in Division Two as Little Common entertain still unbeaten Haywards Heath Town. Bexhill United are also on home soil against Wick & Barnham United, while Westfield face a tough looking game away to Mile Oak.
